Here we model processes and systems to suit the problems under consideration.
Building on this, we develop decision support models that we apply in industry and politics in order to derive recommendations for action.
We work on challenging issues in interdisciplinary teams – with a practical orientation and often directly on site.
Our research initially addresses traditional production and logistics management. The spectrum of our research ranges from production, logistics and supply chain management to environmental protection. Our research focuses on the four areas of “Energy”, “Digitalization”, “Mobility” and “Resources”. In these subject areas, we develop innovative solutions for current problems, derive applicable recommendations for action and support their implementation.
The aim is to transfer sophisticated theoretical solutions to industrial applications. The results are also reflected in a large number of tried and tested decision templates and planning approaches.
